In these documents, “LifeLedgerX,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean LifeLedgerX, a Canadian company. For anything — questions, privacy requests, billing, support, or legal — contact us at support@lifeledgerx.io.

Your agreement is with us, a Canadian company. These documents are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Wherever you live, if you’re outside Canada your local mandatory consumer-protection and privacy rights still apply to the extent they reach a foreign company — each section’s “If you’re outside Canada” note explains how to exercise them with us.

If anything ever seems to conflict, the Privacy Policy controls how we handle your personal data and Payments & Seeds controls Seeds and purchases; otherwise the Terms of Service govern.


1. Terms of Service

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and LifeLedgerX, a Canadian company, for your use of LifeLedgerX (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1.1 What LifeLedgerX is.

A health-and-wellness lifestyle service focused on metabolic health that helps you log and reflect on your everyday wellness information — meals, weight, and how you’re doing. Some features are AI-assisted. LifeLedgerX is not a medical service, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional advice. The Medical Disclaimer is part of these Terms.

1.2 Eligibility.

You must be 18 or older. The Service isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we’ll close it and delete the data, subject to legal obligations.

1.3 Your account.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@lifeledgerx.io if you suspect unauthorized use. One person, one account.

1.3a Inactive accounts.

After 6 months with no sign-in, your account is treated as abandoned: we close it and delete its data, and any Seeds — granted or purchased — are removed with it. (Six months is a clear line; there’s no separate notice and no distinction between granted and purchased Seeds.) If you decide to come back later, just reach out from the email you signed up with, and we’ll do our best to work with you to get your account going again.

1.4 Joining is free; Seeds.

Joining requires no payment, no card, no subscription, no trial. Every new account gets a one-time welcome grant of Seeds at no charge. Seeds are an internal consumable used to access features. Anything about buying Seeds, balances, and refunds is in Payments & Seeds, which controls on those topics.

1.5 Acceptable use.

Don’t break the law or infringe others’ rights using the Service; don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or probe it; don’t resell or commercially exploit the Service or Seeds; don’t upload malware; don’t submit content that’s unlawful or that you have no right to share. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

1.6 Your content.

You keep ownership of what you put into the Service (your logs, entries, uploads — “Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We don’t use Your Content for advertising, don’t sell it, and don’t use it to train general-purpose AI models. The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except routine backups that age out and anything we must keep by law. To close your account or delete your content, email support@lifeledgerx.io. If you’d like a copy of your content first, just ask in that request and we’ll provide it.

1.7 AI-assisted features.

Some features are AI-assisted in the background using Anthropic to help organize information and surface general-wellness reflections. These features are assistive only — they don’t make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you, and they don’t provide diagnosis or medical advice (see the Medical Disclaimer). How the relevant content is processed is described in the Privacy Policy (§2.4).

1.8 Availability and changes.

We may add, change, or remove features, and adjust how much Seeds different features use — subject to the protections in Payments & Seeds §4.6 (material increases to how fast purchased Seeds burn get advance notice and never devalue Seeds you’ve already bought). We aim to keep the Service running but don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

1.9 “As is”.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent the law allows. This doesn’t remove any mandatory consumer-protection right you have where you live.

1.10 Governing law and disputes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of mandatory laws of your home jurisdiction, or your right to bring a claim locally where the law gives you that right. We don’t require binding arbitration or class-action waivers — disputes go to the courts, preserving the local rights described above.

1.11 Changes to these Terms.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we give advance notice (in-app and/or email) before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can reject by closing your account before the effective date; continued use after that means acceptance.

1.12 A few general points.

If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These documents are the whole agreement between you and us. You can’t transfer this agreement to someone else; we can — for example, if the business is sold. And we’re not responsible for failures caused by things outside our reasonable control (such as an outage or a natural disaster).

If you’re outside Canada. Your agreement is still with LifeLedgerX under Alberta law, but your local mandatory consumer protections continue to apply to the extent they reach us, and you can exercise them with us at support@lifeledgerx.io. Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment processor — see Payments & Seeds.


Accessibility. We want LifeLedgerX to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA and build accessibility into our release process — keyboard navigation, sufficient contrast, screen-reader compatibility, and plain-language content.
